This policy tells you what the See It On Me browser extension (“the extension”) does with your data. The short version: your photo stays on your device, we have no accounts, and we do not collect analytics.

• Your photo and settings stay on your device.
• We send your photo only to our try-on server, which forwards it to Fashn.ai to make the try-on images. Our server does not store your photo.
• We do not create user accounts.
• We do not collect analytics or usage data.
• When you uninstall the extension, your browser permanently deletes all data that the extension stored.

1. Data on your device

The extension stores this data in your browser only:

• Your reference photo.
• Your skin tone setting.
• Your try-on count and your plan (free or paid).
• A random install token. It identifies this install of the extension, not you.
• Try-on images that you already made, so that the extension does not make the same image again. The extension deletes these after 30 days.

This data does not sync to your other devices. In the extension, press Delete Photo to delete your photo, or Clear Data to delete all extension data. When you upload a new photo, the extension deletes all saved try-on images.

2. Data we send to make a try-on

When you start a try-on, the extension sends this data to our server at api.seeitonme.co:

• Your reference photo.
• The product image from the Amazon page.
• Your skin tone setting.
• Your install token.

Our server forwards the photo, the product image and the skin tone to Fashn.ai, which makes the try-on images. Fashn.ai is our data processor for this purpose and processes your photo under its privacy policy and data processing terms. Our server does not store your photo and does not write it to logs.

The extension does not send your browsing history, the pages you visit, or analytics to anyone.

3. IP addresses and abuse limits

To stop abuse of the free plan, our server uses the IP address of each request to limit new installs and free try-ons. We store only a keyed, one-way hash of the address. The key changes each day. For IPv6 we use only the network part of the address (the /64 prefix). Each hash deletes itself 2 days after its last use. We never store or log your full IP address.

Under the GDPR, this hash can be personal data. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing abuse of the free plan.

4. Payments

Paid subscriptions go through Stripe. You enter your payment details on Stripe’s pages, not in the extension. Stripe processes them under its privacy policy.

Stripe sends our server messages about your subscription. These messages can contain your email and name. Our server reads only the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and your subscription status. It links them to your install token. It does not store your email, name, or card details.

Uninstalling the extension does not cancel your subscription. To cancel, open the extension and press Manage or Cancel Subscription, or contact us.

5. Amazon affiliate links

We are an Amazon Associate. On Amazon product pages the extension adds our affiliate tag to the Add to Cart and Buy Now links. If you buy something, Amazon can pay us a commission. This does not change your price. If the page already has an affiliate tag, the extension does not add or replace one. Amazon processes your data under its own privacy notice.

6. Browser permissions

• activeTab: to read the product image on the Amazon page that you have open.
• Access to amazon.com and api.seeitonme.co: to show the try-on button on Amazon and to send try-on requests to our server.

7. Your choices and rights

You control the data on your device. You can delete it at any time from the extension, or by uninstalling the extension. Because we do not have accounts and we do not store your photo, we usually cannot link any stored data to you. To ask about your data or your subscription, email support@seeitonme.co.

8. Children

The extension is not for children under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the “Last updated” date.
